OUR PROJECT

Tasked with a final project, we collaberated as a team of three to conceive, design, and implement a weather station that is able to both monitor and log air temperature and pressure, wind speed and direction, and relative humidity. Along with the weather station box itself, we built a program using LabVIEW to receive and read our incoming data. With both hardware and software complete, we are able to 'head' our station and accurately read the weather.

DETAILED PROGRESS

Week 11: Work on the report and Final Presentation has began.

Week 10: The weather station has been mounted and collecting data.

Week 9: Machining is complete and our program has been finished and tested.

Week 8: Assembly parts are being machined and our program is making progress.

Week 7: Anemometer program is written and further progress is made on our wiring diagram.

Week 6: Sensors have SolidWorks models. Progress is made with the express PCB and SCH.

Week 5: A SolidWorks Assembly has been started and work on the express PCB and SCH.

Week 4: A program flow chart has been made and the arms are assembled.

Week 3: Our weather box has been assembled albeit without sensors.

Week 2: Project Plan is on the way and solid works models for most parts have been completed.

Week 1: Jobs are assigned and the initial design has been conceived. A Project Plan is in the works.
